Archer was stuck tutoring for minimum wage and working with disengaged students who were forced to get a tutor by their parents in a desperate attempt to improve their grades. He knew that tutoring was not very successful and didn’t make a significant difference to a struggling student. Archer wanted to put the techniques he used in his own study as a doctor into a step-by-step formula that could make a difference to the education of his peers.
